The new Actively Ageing program is a comprehensive exercise and educational course It will teach you the principals of safe, correctly performed exercise, using optimal postures and muscle groups to improve
fitness for better future health.
"It's not too late to tone up those muscles. Regular exercise allows ease of mobility, calms pain from stiff joints, and promotes a better night's sleep to re-energise and de-stress," Verona said. "You will
enjoy a longer, healthier, more vibrant life with a stronger immune system and reduced risk of heart disease."
The Actively Ageing classes educate on safe lifting techniques, falls prevention strategies, good nutrition to provide essential nutrients for bone and brain health, and how to maintain strong healthy muscles into
retirement.
A home stretching, toning and balance routine is taught over two or four weeks so by the end of the course you will be able to perform all exercises safely and correctly. |
